TMS THERAPY IS FDA APPROVED TO TREATMENT DEPRESSION
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy is an FDA approved, innovative, noninvasive and non-drug approach to treating depression. TMS uses a powerful magnet to deliver focused magnetic pulses to stimulate a specific area of the brain. TMS helps to enhance communications between various brain regions leading to improved overall brain function, mood, attention, concentration, memory and cognitive ability.

SIGNIFICANTÂ IMPROVEMENT IN SYMPTOMSÂ & REMISSION
Clinical research data and overall outcome results show:

1 in 2 of TMS patients achieved greater than 50% reduction in depression symptoms.

1 in 3 patients achieve complete remission success.

Approximately 70% maintained at least 1-year durability and sustained response from initial treatment.
Some patients were able to find success in gradually decreasing their medication dosage. Many who were weaned off medications prior to starting TMS were able to remain off mediations after completing TMS treatment.
TMS STIMULATES THE DLPFC BRAIN REGION IN A PULSATILE FASHION
TMS uses magnetic pulses to repeatedly activate the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) brain region. This improves activity within the limbic system and other parts of the brain. The limbic system is essential in mood, attention, memory, focus, motivation and other features.

In addition to offering a standalone TMS therapy program, we offer a unique integrative TMS program which combines TMS with a customized talk therapy administered by our experienced licensed therapists. By combining biological affects through TMS with behavioral and cognitive support through a modified talk therapy, we can maximize the benefits of both TMS and traditional talk therapy.
